Welcome to the REAL PITCH! If you like baseball or real estate investing, I’ll be talking about both here. If you don’t like baseball or making money, then WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! I have a lot of different tastes so I reserve the right to occasionally go off topic and run down different rabbit holes to see what we can find. I may blog about an interesting new wine vineyard I stumbled upon, or out of, depending on the quality of the wine. Or maybe about a steam punk event I attended or the WonderCon which is like the Comic Con in San Diego but without the massive crowds. Or one of the many great places to eat in my home town of Bakersfield, California. Or salmon fishing in Alaska, Marlin fishing in Hawaii tuna fishing in Baja, or Eastern Sierra trout fishing. So you might want to check in periodically to see what I’m up to.
On the baseball side of things I’ll be all over the map as well. I may blog about the current season as it unfolds or about memorable games I’ve attended. Spring training in 2022 is a definite possibility. I may focus on a particular team or player. I’m a fan of the history of the game so I may write about an interesting player or incident. Full disclosure, I’m a Dodgers fan so I may be biased. The way this season is turning out for the Boys in Blue I may be a little embarrassed as well.
Then there is real estate investing. As my partner, Kevin Oliver, is fond of saying, real estate isn’t a job, it’s a lifestyle. I don’t advertise myself as any all-seeing Guru so I will keep it light but at the same time provide information. I may discuss projects I’m working on, or different investing strategies. There are a lot of different ways to make money in this business. I may share funny stories about real estate investing. Stories that will hopefully impart some kind of a moral such as don’t let this happen to you.
Finally, I am new to this so bear with me. Right now, the web site is still under construction so you will probably see a lot of changes in the next few weeks. Ultimately, I hope to expand to other platforms. Face Book, You Tube, Linked In to name a few. The writing will improve as well, you have my word. Right now I’m simply turning over rocks and running down rabbit holes trying to find my voice. It’s out here somewhere in the weeds. To that end I need feedback from you dear readers.
